Gee entering the NFL draft you think?? With all his multiple other options available to him. The NCAA just raped him of his collegiate eligibility this year, humiliated him during his teams finest hour nationally. Where in the hell was Boone's lawyers while this is going on?????? Picken their noses????

Great job handling that, NCAA.

Best of luck to Dez in the NFL.

November 6, 2009  09:12 AM ET

Seriously. His other options were?????? Walmart greeter. UFL, AFL2, CFL. NCAA is a joke.

I guess going to class was never considered.

If you look at the bright side of all this:

1) Dez will be quicker/stronger and well rested
2) Injury Free
3) Leaps ahead of any other College Receiver in terms of being NFL ready

If a WR goes before him in the draft fire the GM immediately of that team.

I've never read anything that said he wasn't. He may in fact be going to class and will continue to do so this semester then leave to prepare for the draft. Nothing any other NFL prospect would do.

The Lions wont let him drop below the number three pick. They just cant resist WRs...

that's a slow miserable death

a sure fire top ten pick. Just hope he doesnt turn out like Rashaud Woods, who was the last OSU taken in the first rnd and was a complete bust.

Agreed. I don't think he loses anything by not being able to play anymore college games.

Dez will be fine, he will work out well in the NFL.

Who says the lions will pick in the top 3? I'd say the Browns, Chiefs, Rams, or Oakland pick before them. Al Davis definitely isn't going to let that one slip by. Hope Dez takes care of business since the NCAA treated him like their prison ****.

Agreed... Now he can actually work out with Prime Time.. Parker can give him some $$$ until he gets picked in the Top 10... Bet he is driving a 750 by the end of the week

November 6, 2009  10:31 AM ET

Now why would a guy like that enter the NFL draft when the NCAA has been so good to him?
(Hey Dez-- don't listen to Deion when he suggests an agent for you. Better yet, just don't listen to Deion.)

He can go to as many classes as he wants when he's done playing professional football.

November 6, 2009  10:50 AM ET

Dez you shouldn't have gone to dinner with Deion <cough cough and Eugene Parker>

Seriously anyone who watches TV in the Dallas area knows what a cheesy pimp Deion has become. Hangin' with Deion just shows a lack of judgment and lying about it just shows a lack of character.

November 6, 2009  11:00 AM ET

I'm not happy with the draconian punishment he got from NCAA, and I wish the kid all the best in the NFL (except when he plays against the 'Boys, when I want his hands coated in motor oil).

............. Does Okie Lite get to keep its wins from earlier in the season when Bryant was playing?

Janet Reno running the NCAA? Seems like some Ruby Ridge or Waco style treatment
