Pretty cool... I don't know much about the kid... but the fact that the MLS is able to compete for talent from Africa now with the European giants is promising. South America and Africa, I can live with that influence on our league ;-) .

funny story, someone posted on the ssfc forums that he ran into one of reda's buddies from morocco, the guy said reha had signed and that sounders should dump montero, not sure why he feels montero needs to go, reda should shore up our CAM needs

I'm still trying to find out why bald Underwear Model wants to leave Seattle. Does he really think he has a shot at playing for his NT again, or is he afraid if he has too much time on his hands he'll go back to his **** addiction?

D-Wreck - underwear model doesn't want to leave seattle - he's under contract for next year and he has already said he'll honor that. he has also said he loves seattle. i think he just wants to prove to himself & others he can still play in the EPL? i dunno. the discussions of him going to arsenal are only on loan.

his country's team was eliminated from WC, so it's not like he's pulling a beckham angling to make a national squad.

Oh, and Reda? Well we need attacking mid help bad. zakuani either isn't it, or just has too much to learn.... either way, we could use the help.

if the sounders were smart they wouldn't sign him until AFTER the expansion draft/protection window happens, so they don't have to waste a spot for him.

If the kid's a good player, bring him on. It's always good to have players from so many countries come here and contribute. This adds to MLS' distinction of being the most racially diverse league in the world...

Good catch! That had floated from my memory. Is it still possible to have a WC without Ronaldo and Ibrahimovich? Yes it is! What a disappointment that would be for many many fans. I know Oter won't miss Ibra....

Ibra is already out. Portugal needs to beat Bosnia to advance - no sure things. The Bosnians have some great attackers. So Ronaldo may not make it. Petr Cech's team is eliminated too. As is Vidic's and Modric's. There are, as always, some really great players missing South Africa.

It seems to me Adrian Hanauer is always on the look for new talent. This bodes very well for Sounders and the league.

George Best, George Weah, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov, Eric Cantona, Kevin Keegan, David Ginola to name a few players who never played on the biggest stage possible.
