Gordon admits urging Talladega limits
Jeff Gordon on Friday admitted he was one of the Sprint Cup drivers who approached NASCAR officials last weekend and urged them to prohibit bump-drafting in the corners at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. "I was one of them," Gordon said at Texas Motor Speedway. "Bump-drafting through the corners is ridiculous. I don't think that had anything to do with the race you saw last week."

Gordon has always been a crybaby, but since he got married, had a kid, and hurt his back hes really softened up. IMO its time to hang it up Jeffy it was a good run.

Don't forget Mr. Tough Guy Stewart saying it was a great move by Nascar. Oh, that's right, he's an owner now. can't be wrecking the car. Edwards was also all in favor of the ban on bumping in the corners. Not a Gordon fan but he wasn't alone in this mess.

What 'race' did we see last week? That travesty at Talladega was no race. I'll say again, and I know I'll take some grief, but if they never raced at Talladega again it would be okay with me. It's either boring or dangerous, and I mean a lot more dangerous than racing needs to be.
