Wilson's rant spurs Leafs to win

Ron Wilson and his coaching staff had seen enough. So after an opening 20 minutes in which his team had dug itself into yet another 2-0 hole against the struggling Carolina Hurricanes, he let them have it in the intermission. "They've got to get mad at some point," Wilson said. "I said to the team: 'We've only got one win in 13 games, when's somebody going to get upset here?' " The answer came in the next 12 minutes and 37 seconds, the time it took the Leafs to even the score and get them on the way to win No. 2 on the season.

That works every once in a while. If you do it all the time though, it just becomes annoying.

What took so long.

Actually, it says very little. It doesn't address anything about rainforest depletion or even the H1N1 virus.

I really hope this isn't saying that this is the first friggen time he's gotten a teensy bit upset at his 2-12 team. Because...well lets just say I know where Wilson's house is, and I got a LOT of toilet paper lying around...

OK I'll admit that my pre season stats were slightly off when I said that they will go 82-0 but, 70-12 is still a very respectful season. Don't you think BGM?

I tuned out Wilson when he was with Washington

I tune him out every time the Leafs step on the ice surface.

If I didn't enjoy watching the Leafs get it handed to them I would tune them out as well. I just love watching Burke squirm from his little podium

'Bout time Dawg did somethin' - I was starting to think he was developing 4B syndrome - Believe the Big Boy Burkie. He's a tad over-exexposed now.

I'd be more concerned in the East as the strong get stronger they wouldn't play the Twinkies in the playoffs except in the SCF
