300 plus posts if it were a weekday but only a buck 50 today. Let 'er rip boys.

Why not. With Crist injured if he is any good he might be next years backup.

November 8, 2009  08:49 AM ET

Too bad they can't get him here next week. Does the Lake Forest coach have any prior commitments?

November 8, 2009  08:55 AM ET

I dont even know who this is. Andrew Hendrix is the only QB recruit I am aware of. Worthless information

November 8, 2009  09:07 AM ET

Rees will have to get use to the fact that Weis might not be around to mold him into an NFL ready QB.

Ok lets get this taken care of early. In the pic Weiss is responding to the question from the opposing coach, "hey Charlie exactly how fat were you before you lost some weight".

There. Done.

Or, when asked how close the Navy game would be? This was his response. Or maybe, how far away is a ND qb from starting in the pros...I could go on and on...

Time to turn out the lights, Charlie, the party is over...for you.

this before or after the Navy loss?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing, although losing doesn't seem to hurt the Pillsbury Dough Boy's recruiting too much. After five years of striving to maintain mediocrity, Weiss still gets the players he needs in order to demonstrate that the problem is deeper than a lack of talent.

Perhaps, Charlie should consider growing a lower lip mustache...

Maybe if he got a perm, or wore vertical stripes that would help him appear thinner, too. Maybe big hats.

Or he could go in the other direction and take advantage of his size--I hear the New York Giants are looking for a new mascot, and Charlie might be looking for work soon.

He should hire Mangino and Friedgen then just stand next to them. He'll look like a supermodel.

LOL! Mangino might have the best job-security of the three, so maybe he could hire Weiss and Friedgen and change his team to the Kansas BBQ Beasts.

Can't you just see the sparks flying off the silverware at the team dinner.

I'd love to see the fight that breaks out after someone loses an arm while reaching for a spare rib.

Fridge lost like 110 pounds or something. It's just that his team sucks so bad this year that they're never on TV (including here in the DC area), so no one has seen the new Fridge.

Food budget alone will probably break the AD budget. Will have to put a clause in the contract as to how much they spend on each per meal after that it's out of pocket.

In that case CW is screwed.
