The guy sucked when he played for the AHL (Kings) team here in Manchester. I couldn't believe when I saw him in the Canes line up against the Bruins last year.

Yeah makes sense for Hawks as they position to sign all their RFA's next year

The Hawks probably want to shed salary, but they have their own PP issues. They are hardly going to trade away Campbell and not get a good puck mover back. They would, if anything, like to add a puck mover to improve their PP and would probably trade away a forward like Buff to do it. There has been talk about them making a move like that with Toronto.

Bottom line: Rutherford was an absolute idiot to let both Seidenberg and Babchuk go. Now he has no PP and only himself to blame.

Not worth the added salary. Not sure Boston could spare the extra 1.2M, even pro-rated.

Only real advantage to trading for him would be that his contract is up at years end.

With Ward Stall and Cole out they might as well just tank the season and make a play for the first pick

Cole has been back in the lineup since Nov 1 and the Canes have signed Legace. They cannot afford to obviously tank and alienate their fanbase.

I hope not...this guy is not the problem. All the rumors of him being a liability defensively have been unfounded or he fixed once her got to Carolina.
