What's wrong with Sosa's face?

Sammy Sosa tells friends he is comfortable in his own skin. But a widely circulated photo of the former Cubs slugger makes his skin color appear several shades lighter. "He's not trying to be Michael Jackson," said former Cubs employee Rebecca Polihronis, who talks frequently with Sosa. Sosa was photographed recently during an appearance at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. "He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin," Polihronis said. "Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white."

I can't believe I just read that.

Well we always knew he was a clown..now he's starting to look like one. Maybe he inherited Michael Jackson's skin-lightening products?

November 8, 2009  09:04 AM ET

Maybe he needed to bring his translator to his doctors appointments.

14 years ago this guy was one of the biggest and most popular stars in sports. Now he's making appearances at Casino's looking like a freak with a Ms Littlebigboob. Great.

Maybe we could get him to fight Jose.

Maybe that's what Sammy was going to use the appearance fee for. Plenty of surgeons in Vegas too so maybe it was a multitasking trip.

Breaking news! Bruins scored a goal last night. Actually got 4, including 2 PP goals. Our cruiserweight enforcer (Thornton) beat the bag out of two guys and the whole team played with a little snarl.

It would be over too quick. Small knives would last longer and be more ethnically appropriate.

Reported!

The Rangers only scored one goal again. Drury got blindsided in the first minute without the puck and no penalty. They had to practically carry him off the ice. Lundqvist still sick and didn't play for the 2nd straight game. That was also the Rangers 18th game, most teams are around 15, including a west coast trip.
They're not playing until Thursday. Hopefully the rest does them some good.
