Boldin upset with Cardinals again

The Cardinals returned home Sunday with another road victory, the division lead and one miserable receiver. Anquan Boldin was among the team's eight inactive players, and he said no one was "man enough" to tell him he wasn't playing. Boldin said he found out before the game when he returned to locker room from testing his injured right ankle and found his gear had been removed from his locker. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said he approached Boldin at the player's locker and told him he wasn't playing. Two witnesses to Whisenhunt's conversation with Boldin said the receiver would not look at the coach during the conversation.

Trade him to Cleveland. Then he'll really know what disgruntled is.

Hang in there Anquan. Eight more games, the playoffs then you can go make some other team miserable next year.

He has been upset for three year's now what else is new?

What's ironic is that yesterday there was an T&R article about "Cowboys everything wrong about NFL", when it is actually clowns like Boldin. He is on a team that went to the superbowl last year and can't do anything but think about himself and his money.

It's guys like this that is what's wrong with sports in general. Country is in a severe recession, unemployment is over 10% and spoiled athletes like this simply don't get it.

Anquan, if I find the rock you crawled out from under and lift it for you, will you please go back under it?

Agreed. No loyalty to the fans, no loyalty to the team, no loyalty to sport. Just in it for the next fat contract.

This is nice.

This is getting old! Does he realize that he's quickly moving from diva to little beach?

Are we in history class?

If he wanted to know whether or not he was playing, he should have checked twitter.

Ouch! that one hurt. Does get rid of any suspense for this year though.

Hmm this got me thinking. Are the fans or team loyal to the players? How much do we complain if a team cuts a player or make them redo their contract? If we think it will help our team we are all for it. In sports if a player can help my team I love them. If they can't I want them gone.

Is that any different than what any of us deal with in the "real world"? How many people get laid-off because a company can bring in people who make less money? If a company decides to slash salary, what options do we have? Professional athletes go through the same thing, though the difference is, they are usually making millions and millions and just making fewer of those millions while we are forced to struggle when it happens to us.

I really want to give Boldin a pass after watching him have his face broke last year, but he's making it real hard.
