05:48 AM ET 11.12 | The thought is tantalizing: The Heat's Dwyane Wade and Cleveland's LeBron James playing alongside each other as teammates. Wade said Wednesday ``it really could'' happen, though he cautioned the odds are against it even though both can be unrestricted free agents next summer.

Could be long shot...

... I'm also a guy who thought Shaq would stay with Orlando to continue playing with Penny.

Thanks for taking up space with this post fan nation. Had no idea King James and Wade playing together was a long shot. On a bright note, the Cavs spanked the Magic last night. Woohoo!

It'd be a pretty terrible pairing of styles IMO.

November 12, 2009  08:46 AM ET

Now this gentlemen would be a formidable duo - Whether it can happen or not is up to their agents and obviously both will have to cut back on salary to be able to have a supporting cast around them.... With that said they can be in contention for titles for many years to come after that.....

Dont count that as a huge win bro.
Rashard Lewis is not bag from suspension yet and when he does return the cavs wont beat the magic anymore.
They still gatta face each other three more times remember.

As for the topic at hand Wade County needs a young athletic big man.
Bosh or Amare. Not two egos that both want to carry a team.
Long shot?
Maybe, but I do not see that happening or want it to happen.

November 12, 2009  08:48 AM ET

If it happens so be it though.

I agree you shouldn't read too much into it until Lewis returns, but what you should be looking at is how Shaq whipped Howard, which is the reason they brought him there... I don't think you can say they wont beat the magic anymore based on that fact alone.

In that picture, does Dwade thing LBJ is star jones ?

Yea when I saw how much points Howard had and how he was handled it made me wonder too.

Not really.
A friendly jester that Wade does.
No big deal.
Its not like he squeezed his arse or something.

Only way it happens is if no ring James passes more and realizes Wade is truly better than him.

cmon dee they are different types of players one uses size and power the other speed and quickness..both are great...top 5 players.....but you are right about one thing....no way they play together...

November 12, 2009  10:12 AM ET

One superstar per team,.. otherwise the ring is not worth but half the value.

It might be nice to see, but it will never happen.
