07:02 AM ET 11.18 | With the Celtics having lost three of their past five games, and their lineup struggling with outside shooting, rumors are beginning to surface about potential trades. While the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to rid themselves of the underachieving Samuel Dalembert and the Sacramento Kings are seeking to deal the disgruntled Kenny Thomas, the Celtics have been rumored to be part a three-way deal that would send Tony Allen, Brian Scalabrine, and J.R. Giddens out of Boston and net them the Kings' Andres Nocioni. According to two NBA sources, the Celtics have not had any conversations with Sacramento and Philadelphia about such a deal. And one of those sources said the Celtics had not contacted Sacramento about Nocioni.

There's no need to panic. No matter how many stars you get it will take time for them to jell. The team is already stacked with talent and the current players already know the system. I'd say stay putt.

Boston runs complex offense and deffensive schemes so new players will definitely struggle. Just allow nature to take its course - everything will be OK! No trades please - Keep the chemistry advantage...

If the Celts could get Andres Nocioni for those 3 players mentioned it's a no brainer.

November 18, 2009  08:10 AM ET

I would agree. Just because they have lost 3 games doesn't mean hit the panic button. The NBA has a variety of talented teams, so BOS is going to lose some games. Now, I would say losing to the Pacers might sting a little bit, but you aren't going to win them all. I would say keep the main guys healthy and happy to prepare for the playoffs. Boston will win 60+ games and be a top seed in the east - if they stay healthy.

One thing that hurts right now is Big Baby being out. When he gets back - they'll be tough to beat.

Exactly, all of the other names mentioned maybe besides Sam will make a difference unless its for expiring contracts that will free up money to get a solid vet in 2010 market for the Celtics.

Doesn't the last two sentences negate everything else written?

Have to agree with you. They have plenty of talented players. Sometimes you just have to let it develope naturally, and not force things with a trade.

Very young season and they'll bounce back - Come on that team is stacked.... I mean Andres is okay but too soon for the Celts to panic.

This trade will most likely NOT happen.
A) Nocioni is in the middle of a BIG contract. Celtics don't want to be tied to yet another big multi year contract after resigning Rondo
B) The expiring contracts of Allen and Scal are HUGE not only as future bargaining chips come trade deadline but also for the Celtics next summer in what will undoubtedly be another reloading session

What is a Brad Miller pic doing in here??

The Celtics big 3 window is closing (2-3years left), this team is built to win NOW, worry about Noc's contract later.

Nocioni SUX!!! Hey Celts just wait for Big Baby!!!!

He's entering the 3rd year of a 5 year contract that pays him 7.5 million a year. By NBA standards that's not huge money............

Make the deal. Nocioni is lights out. Can play 3 or 4 had a good shot and defends + HE IS A TEAM PLAYER. Cannot go wrong with that plus reasonable contract.
