06:17 AM ET 11.20 | The Yankees denied a published report they have let teams know right fielder Nick Swisher is available. According to a club official, the switch-hitting Swisher, who played a big part in the Yankees winning the AL East and struggled in the postseason, isn't being shopped.

The day is still young, but this is probably the most sensible thing that will be said on this thread

Switzer is the most frustrating player to watch, taking ball after ball, only to strike out at crucial times. Always looks for perfect pitch to drive out. He'd rather take a walk than get a single with men on base 'cause he only wants Dingers. Very selfish player with the look-at-me-haircuts...

I know you were being I facetious, but still, I'm not sure there'd even bed a starting job for him in Cleveland.

You don't need to be a great defender to play right field in Yankee stadium. You cannot be too disappointed with 29 HRs and 84 RBI. Yes he strikes out a lot, but hitting down in the lineup isn't as bad if you plugged him into the 2 or 3 hole.

Actually, he probably would.

Oh, I think the Sox will get him back, but he's going to make them pay for it.
