Don't be bitter now touchdown Jesus lol

As for James Jones why buy him out isn't his contract next year a team option? Miami just doensn't have to pick him up and they'll still have mounds of money for FAs.

Clearing room for LeBron?

Bitter? Hell, no. I've just grown accustomed to disappointment and mediocrity.

18 million for that? 18 million for that!?!?

I've go hit the heavy bag for a while. . .

lol....
wow - I'm SO glad they have made him available

I'm making my old sweat socks available- they have some holes

I see well it's like being an 49ers fan except substitute outright awfulness. Heavy bag doesn't sound like a bad idea.

18 million for what?

I don't want to hear it-
when you're a Knicks and Jets fan like myself......
you understand TRUE disappointment and mediocrity

Can't shoot? He's shooting 39% from three for his career.

Good point. It's that team option that makes him desirable, along with his defense and shooting. The bad side is that he's been injury prone the last two seasons.

Don't worry - Lebron is on the way. He wouldn't pass up the chance to play with the next Larry Bird (Gallinari) and the next Chris Bosh (Hill).

according to hoops world- he has 3 more years after this for
a bit more than 15 mil remaining....no options
- who in the WORLD would trade for him - especially before
this summer ??
- and why in the world would he accept a buy-out when he'd be
lucky to get a 1 year 1 mil contract going forwards ?

Hoops world is frequently wrong and I think the Miami herald is too in this case.

Per ESPN on July 8th 2008: "The South Florida native signed a five-year contract on Wednesday with the Heat, one that'll pay him $4 million next season and could be worth more than $23.2 million over the life of the deal. Only the first two years of the deal are guaranteed, with him making $8.3 million in those two seasons."

Spurs looked good last night - I think they mesh better without Ginobili - and the Wizards looked equally awful.

If I was being sarcastic, that would mean Donnie Walsh lied to us. I'll raise you one more with the next Scottie Pippen (Jeffries).

It's like the celts-
veteran teams take time to rev up and even when reved up- they
NEVER give 100% effort over 82 games- they can't they're old
and simply are on cruise control to get ready for the playoffs

The spurs need to stay healthy #1
& rest Timmy as much as possible

I think Dynamic was right. Those three years are not guaranteed - each year is a team option. Check it out on Hoopshype.
