10:55 AM ET 11.24 | 49ers president Jed York is dropping the team's tampering charge against the New York Jets over rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree, according to a report on ESPN.com. The site said an unnamed source told ESPN's Adam Schefter of the development Monday. The 49ers filed tampering charges with the NFL in September regarding their then-negotiations with first-round draft pick Crabtree.

No Bro.

The Niners filed charges to demonstrate their leverage over Crabtree: "did you really think you could talk to other teams and go make your money somewhere else?" Now he's signed and the matter is dropped. It was no surprise and no story in September, and it's less of each now.

The Jets have both a crybaby coach and a quarterback with PD (Projectile Dysfunction.) The Niners just felt sorry for them.

Im an Eagles fan 100% but growing up outside San Fran I cant help but root for the Niner's now that Jeff (The Gremlin Hit On My Married Cousin an Followed Her Into The Bathroom Loser) Garcia an T.O. Or just Team Ruiner were there, but I luv PATRICK WILLIS, BEST MLB in the NFL now, sorry Ray Lewis, an I luv Gore since he tore bth ACL's in College at the MIGHTY U, he's been great for the 49er's, the O-Line still needs some work an Secondary but they have the horses to be great next year if they draft a solid 3-4 DT or DE or even a Big Time guard or RT.
Crabtree is finally playing an playing much btr then AL DAVIS'S amzing pick even my Eagles Maclin has been great an AUSTIN COLLIE, A 4TH RD PCK OF THE COLTS WHO WENT TO MY H.S. AN WATCHED PLAY HAS 450 YARDS REC AN 4 TD'S. But back on track if ALEX SMITH CAN CONTINUE TO PLAY SOLID HE COULD REDEEM HIMSELF.

Rex Ryan can take the Niners off his "Disrespected" list now.

What the 49ers should drop is their unwillingness to switch to a form of the Spread Offense, you know, the kind that made Alex Smith look like the 1st pick in the draft?

Taking snaps under center isn't Smith's thing. Get in the shotgun formation, use Davis as a receiver, draft another wideout from one of the spread schools (Florida, Texas Tech, Michigan, etc), or trade for one.

Trade Crabtree to Oakland, a perfect fit!
