07:54 AM ET 11.27 | Thanks to an eavesdropping camera and microphone from the NFL Network, Broncos coach Josh McDaniels' tirade on the sideline was telecast to prime-time viewers across America in all its profane glory. "All we're trying to do is win the (expletive) game!" McDaniels shouted at tackle Ryan Clady, quarterback Kyle Orton and offensive players gathered around the Denver bench. "It's the NFL Network. It doesn't surprise me," said McDaniels, who lit up his offensive players during the second quarter, when three dumb false-start penalties forced the Broncos to settle for a field goal in the red zone.

seriously, stupid move by the broadcasters. Lets see, bad drive.... lets pan to the coach.. No $hit he is cursing. Wake up call. This is what guys do when they are around other guys. When I got out of the military it took me a year to learn that the f word is not a verb, noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, etc.

Name a coach who has never cursed. Did the NFL Network have a boom mike nearby? Usually you don't hear coaches unless they are miked up for a game.

At least he didn't say poo-poo

Thoroughly funny! If you had gone into law enforcement, F-word's varied usage still applies.

In the article, the director mentions that with the technology they can pick up a lot without miking people. They can hear the QB without miking him and the coach on the sidelines. They claimed this(curse) just slipped by.

Why are Americans so uptight about something like this? I guess I can see why they don't allow certain words in scripted shows but this was an accident. The fact that they felt the need to apologize shows how ridiculously puritanical some people in this country are.

Way to go McDaniels!

I guess cameras and mikes are everywhere now.

Big deal, so he cursed. Move on.

Yeah I caught that line last night... funny as hell.

Ever since the Janet Jackson incident, American television (especially NFL) has had a significant couple second lag time between what is happening live and what hits the consumer's television. They had time to bleep out the words.

Maybe the NFL should consider not zooming in on frustrated players and coaches. Those guys are cursing all game... just read their lips. Every time a QB throws a bad pass, you'll see him walk off the field and mouth "F--K".

One of the drawbacks in trying to get cameras and mikes everywhere during a game ... NFL wants us to get the full NFL experience, then they need to live with the occasional screw-up or source of controversy.

I was watching the game when this happened. Whoever thought showing the coach yelling at his squad just before commercial break was a good idea should be taken out behind the shed...

I cursed too. It is now official, the Giants are a bad team. And there is nothing that can be done about it this year..

What is your solution to fix it, 50? Where do they go from here?

Morning 50, hope your Thanksgiving was a good one despite the Giants game.

because he said naughty things during the game and anyone who watched the game could hear them. I didn't watch the game myself, but I'm sure my ears would have been burning had I been watching, haha.

I have no bloody idea. The whole thing is a mess. On defense The players keep missing assignments ( breakdowns), so either they are stupid or the coaches have done a bad job. They do not get to the QB, so they are not good enough or the coaches give them bad schemes. The O line cannot make running lanes, and Eli Manning spends a lot of time pressured. The LT is really a guard, and it shows, the RT is getting old.
I think there will be some major changes next year. Including coaches not named Coughlin.
