Source: Notre Dame hasn't contacted Edsall

Notre Dame threads have been promoted to the NFL now. This FN infatuation with the Irish has gone to the next level.

They haven't contacted me either. These ND threads are getting so so so ridiculously speculative that now they've stooped to reporting who HASNT been contacted? 117 or so (I forget and don't care like looking it up) Division One schools, about 112 or so to go with who HASN'T been contacted.

I'm pretty certain ND fans just sighed in relief on this news...

Edsall probably changed his number.

He's not a big name, but this guy can coach. Irish fans saw this first hand 3 weeks ago. ND could do a lot worse than this guy. He would be right at the top of my list.....

Hey they can contact me, I have a decided schematic advantage in that having no experience as a head coach, no one has the slightest clue what I offense or defense I'll run, so they cannot plan against me. I also have several rings one being a Captain America decoder ring. We'll use this to design signals to send the plays in.

Not questioning his ability... what he did this year was special.

You may be right, someday they will learn to hire the BEST coach available and not the most popular. Brian Kelly in my opinion will be no different than Charlie. A offensive coach who's teams have very little defense. And the beat goes on.

For the record, I have yet to be contacted by Notre Dame, either. Let's compile a list of those who have not been contacted:

1. Paul Ruebens
2. Joe Rogan
3. Vince McMahon

That's just a start.

I heard that Bobby Bowden has not been contacted about the ND job either.
Neither has JoePa, or Pete Carroll.

I heard that ND has asked Obama for a bailout to help pay for Charlie's buyout.

I also heard the Pope has offered to have a conclave to help them select the next head coach.
