I don't believe the Vikings are "set" at quarterback. I think they have "settled" on who they have until they find a better choice.

Hey, Jackson is already better than Grossman and he made it to the superbowl.

I like Tavaris Jackson. I think he won't be good this year, fair probably at best. But after a year or two he could be ok.

I can't wait for the Packers to play the Vikings... I can smell that fresh meat on the grill already.

I think he is being rushed on the field though. In 3 or 4 seasons he could have been a really Good QB. But, when young QB's get rushed on the field too early......They could lose there whole career.

I would like to see Pep get his roll on again. But, Brad Childress is going to try to show everyone he can turn Jackson into McNabb...this will make Childress an offensive coord. again.

I like this kid - I think he will do well.......

He will do well in the future....But not right this second. He will hold back AP and Rice........

All he has to do is hand off to Peterson and throw mayb 20 times a game.....Vikes will be 6-10 this year and in hunt for a top 6 pick next year.....He needs a little time

This should be the move that puts the Vikes over the top - I see us easily going 19-0. It will be weird going into the 08 Season coming off an undefeated year, but as a Vikes fan, I'll just have to deal with having high expectations

Realistic Expectations. Jackson will be OK. He'll have Sparks of greatness, but he'll also make "Rookie" mistakes. While I personally would love us to make the Play-Offs, I'm not thinking any better than 9-7.

The Vikings will have some good Games, especially with the NFC North rivals.

I like Jackson... seems like a guy with potential and a very good arm. Needs to be a bit more agressive and seriously needs a good reciever or 3.

THis guy is WAY better than Culpepper was at his stage, but Culpepper had smith moss and Carter. Tarvaris is smart but even peyton manning couldn't throw to our parapeligics.

And the moron who made the packers comment, packers will emplode this year, worst team in football. VIkes will beat them twice. Hell the vikes could get 6 wins from our division alone.

Jackson will be a very good QB and soon. But in the event we need backups...I think we can pick up Daunte Culpepper and Michael Vick for about twenty bucks a piece. Just a thought.
