Report: Margarito applies for license in Texas

04:53 PM ET 01.22 | Antonio Margarito has applied for a boxing license in Texas and his promoter, Bob Arum, believes the disgraced fighter will get it, Arum told ESPN.com. Margarito is scheduled to fight Carson Jones on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight on March 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. That's more than a year since he was suspended by the California State Athletic Commission for having illegal pads in his hand wraps before his fight against Shane Mosley.
