Johnson late for Lions camp?
The Lions continued contract negotiations Monday with their first five draft picks, hoping to have deals done before players report to training camp Wednesday. But it is unclear if everyone will be in on time. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson, the No. 2 pick overall, seems especially unlikely to make it.

they really need to change the way they pay rookies, it's huge disincentive to have a top ten pick anymore. its fifty fifty that they will make it and they get paid way too much.
