Broncos want Chiefs safety

The Broncos have repeatedly talked with Kansas City in the past month about the trade availability of safety Greg Wesley. Wesley's agent, Drew Pittman, confirmed the teams have talked because Wesley is hoping for a change of scenery and the Broncos are looking for depth at safety. The Broncos likely are offering a low-round pick and perhaps a backup player. The Chiefs are looking for help at cornerback.

Would I look better in sweater washed in Woolite?

If they could get CB Dom Foxworth, that would be a HELL of a trade!

I don't see that happening Denver trading Domonique for Greg, Domonique is a good PR for Denver and the Broncos.

Is a very underrated nickel.......He probably would start for most teams!

July 24, 2007  11:01 AM ET

That is true he is a hell of a Cornerback, but what he means to the City is what I meant to say, He won't be goin anywhere anytime soon.

Why would the Bronx want a washed up player like Wesley? He's on the downside of his career. I can't belive they would actually give up a draft pick or player to get him! Shanahan needs to put down the pipe for a while!

Wesley sucks the Chiefs should cut him so he can sign with the Broncos.

Should never trade within your own division anyway.

I agree. Wesley has missed tackles and his coverage ability is only average. Plus, FS Jarrod Page took over for him last year and had a great season.

If the Broncos trade CB Foxworth or Paymah the lose in this situation. The Broncs had great moves all offseason.......Don't mess it up now!

The Offensive Line has a Decent Left side but is far from stable on the right........I love C Greg Eslinger from Minnesota and think he will be the mainstay after Nalen. The Ryan Harris pick pissed me off. I wanted my Cowboys to get him! He will replace former Longhorn Lepsis, maybe this year!

July 25, 2007  07:09 AM ET

I hope you guys don't re-sign Foxworth and he signs with the Cowboys in a couple of seasons!

July 26, 2007  01:46 AM ET

Foxworth should not be traded because he is a good CB and a great asset to the Broncos. If anything they can have Paymah, and a 4th or 5th rounder...it would be good to have a safety because the Broncos are reportedly going to release Sam Brandon, due to his injury/slow recovery time. All in all though I feel that they should not make this move, especially to a division rival. If they can hold on to next April, draft a first round safety
