Antonio Logan-El, who drew the ire of many Maryland fans 15 months ago by accepting a scholarship offer to play football at Penn State, yesterday said he will transfer to Division I-AA Towson this fall.

Don't want to play for Paterno or in the greatest stadium in the nation? Good Riddins!!!!

As a big Maryland Football supporter...I hope Logan-El called up Fridge and asked for another chance...I also hope Fridge turned him down with a stone-cold NAY. After being classless in his decision to choose PSU over UM, he should never be allowed at Byrd Stadium ever again...Good Riddance

"Some things didn't go as planned," he says. Interested to know if this is a football playing decision or an academic situation. Should we start the betting as to when he'll transfer from Towson to Bowie State or something?

Locally it is being reported that he did not meet fitness milestones or shown progress in conditioning drills which means he has zero chance of getting on the field in Happy Valley as long as Joe is the coach. Sounds like he does not take football seriously.

This is another case of top prospects all wanting to go to the same school, and then running when they can't play. He went to Penn State when Penn State was the hot team again, instead of Maryland where it could have been easier to get on the field. I think he probably did go to Fridge to see if he would take him, and like an elephant he did not forget the way Logan-El dissed him and the school on national TV.
Some people get what the deserve, but I wish him luck at Townson. He can be a 1-AA all-star or something and get drafted in the third or fourth round.
