Surgery not necessary for Ray
A second magnetic resonance imaging on Chris Ray's right elbow did not reveal any tears, fracture or loose bodies. Ray is still listed as having a sprained ligament, but tests did not show any further damage and the Orioles and Ray are not considering surgery at this time. Ray remains on a three-week rest and rehab program, but said it's highly probably he will be back in bullpen before the end of the season.
