Kelly re-signs, avoids arbitration

The Ottawa Senators and Chris Kelly avoided salary arbitration by agreeing to a $1.26 million, one-year contract Tuesday. Kelly has spent the past two years in Ottawa, where he made $725,000 last season. He's coming off a season in which he enjoyed career highs with 15 goals and 23 assists.
