Fredette to bolt BYU a year early?

05:58 AM ET 03.20 | In a day full of outstanding performances and huge upsets, one relatively unknown player may have stood out on Thursday: BYU's Jimmer Fredette. Fredette scored 37 points in BYU's double overtime win over Florida. The performance may have had an impact on the Cougars beyond moving them to the second round today. Fredette, who has long been expected to test the NBA Draft waters after this season, may start to see his draft stock rise. In early February, a survey of NBA scouts pinned Fredette as a mid-second round pick. That stock may have climbed after Thursday.
