New Warriors' owners may move to new arena

07:12 AM ET 03.23 | Change is around the corner for the golden State Warriors, and for many, it is most welcome. Yes, the Warriors were put up for sale Monday, officially and finally, pending Larry Ellison or someone else meeting Chris Cohan's price. All indications are that Cohan is at last dead set to sell, that six or seven bidders might gin the price above the $400 million target, and that this deal might be completed by midsummer. There are complications, of course. As with anything involving hundreds of millions of dollars and the whims of tycoons. Several prospective bidders, possibly including Ellison, apparently are focusing on moving the team to a new arena adjacent to San Francisco's AT&T Park.
