Cowboys worried about T.O., Glenn?

Whether the Cowboys admit it publicly or not, there must be some concern over the health of Terry Glenn and Terrell Owens. Glenn is expected to miss the preseason after having arthroscopic knee surgery and T.O. has been an inconsistent practice participant because of hamstring tightness and back spasms.

I'd be more concerned about not having a Q.B.

August 8, 2007  09:06 AM ET

Romo is a probowler, and Glenn and T.O. are like all the other vets, they just dont want to do minicamp. What vet does?

August 8, 2007  09:16 AM ET

Romo?! Romo?! he dosent' even come close to the definition of a vet.

August 8, 2007  09:23 AM ET

The season hasn't even started and they're both banged up? Ouch, bad sign for the cowboys.

August 8, 2007  09:29 AM ET

t.o. in Dallas is still wrong..

August 8, 2007  09:34 AM ET

dallascowboyssuctrojans, Romo was a Pro Bowler. Big deal. So was Steve Bono.

August 8, 2007  09:40 AM ET

No worries...

August 8, 2007  09:45 AM ET

Real cowboys don't worry about nothin', man.

(I heard that in a song once.)

August 8, 2007  09:49 AM ET

This is proof that T.O. still doesn't get it. He thinks he's to good for training camp. Then wonders why he doesn't get enough catches. And, when he does get a pass, he has hands of stone. Wade Phillips will be referring to him as "The Player" by week 5. Go Eagles.

August 8, 2007  10:06 AM ET

Yeah but Sonny Bono didnt know when to run out of bounds. <crickets>

Anyway, none of that matters. AL is going to be here in a second to tell you why the Cowboy's are going to win the Superbowl anyway, then cure cancer. Right?

August 8, 2007  10:13 AM ET

All you haters just need to chill. The Boys are going to be just fine. Beer-in-drums and jocky Joe need to hook and and go re-play their favorite scene from BROKE BACK MTN. Romo wil be a pro bowler and TO and GLENN will be just fine come the start of the season. besides the Boys have to many weapons for us to be worried.

August 8, 2007  10:28 AM ET

Glenn will be fine... he's a class act, and will definitely be 100% by week 1. T.O. is another matter though. I have no doubt that he'll be ready for week 1 as well, but unlike Glenn... he just finds a way to not practice.

Check his last four training camps.

2004 - practiced w/ Eagles
2005 - controversy. got sent home
2006 - he thought he was lance armstrong
2007 - his hammy again, and now his back

Being an Eagles fan, you would think I'm a huge hater. Not really... I don't like the guy, but I love the player. He could be the greatest player to ever play this game if he only grew up and took it seriously. Until he does that, I don't think he deserves a SB ring.

Both Glenn and T.O. had better be healthy by the time they face the Eagles. Don't want to hear any excuses.

August 8, 2007  10:45 AM ET

T.O. the greatset player to ever play the game?come on .thats the
most idiotic statement i ever heard.in the history of the nfl ?i dont even think **** crack the top 50 in my book.wow.

August 8, 2007  11:01 AM ET

They are 33, almost 34......I mean really what do you expect. You take your time with PROVEN VETS.......We have a stable of younger guys who need more reps. I am more worried about WR Isiah Stanback.....We need a PR.

Romo is a good option. Unlike last season.....he started off OTAs and Training Camp as QB1......which gives him more time to mold with the First team offense and play against the 1st team Defense.

Glenn and Owens will be in the film room and with OC Garrett getting ready for the season.

I hate people that just come on boards and post ignorant things. If you don't like a team or player.........don't post something ignorant just take a step back and think before you say stupid crap.

August 8, 2007  11:05 AM ET

Why would you practice in Training Camp injured??? Every year you see BIG time players go down for the year. I don't care who it is and what team....I hate to see players go down for the year.

Rest a SOAR hamstring rather than practice with it and you could TEAR or Pull it. Now most of you have never played past Middle School. But those of us who have made it passed High School know about injuries and playing hurt.

No one talks about TOs work ethic........and on Gameday if he is injured.....Dude will play.

I didn't hear any Eagles Fans talk junk when Owens put on a CLINIC in the Superbowl.

August 8, 2007  11:13 AM ET

AL, the thing is it's the start of camp. If they are going to be healthy anytime during the year it should be now. f they are having hamstring issues it's their own fault. I agree that you can rest veterans in camp, but you don't want to see guys who are already hurt before the season starts.

August 8, 2007  11:14 AM ET

Chaz...........You suck today. You're supposed to be my Buddy!! Why are you hatin?

The Cowboys have a legit Shot at GOING to the Superbowl. We are a solid team that is pretty deep.

I have said it time and time again....Its going to be the Pats who win the Superbowl, even if my Cowboys are playing them.

August 8, 2007  11:14 AM ET

TO will play on game day. He might drop a pass or two or short arm it occasianally, but he'll play.

August 8, 2007  11:19 AM ET

I agree its always good to be healthy. You know as well as I do that football is crazy on the body. There are always going to be minor injuries.....Just don't over do it. In Texas its hot as hell right now.....Heat cramps and things of that nature are big this time of year.

I would just rather see them miss some practice rather than the Entire Regular Season. Plus, I am flying back to Dallas for the Dec. 16th Game against the Eagles......Its going to be a Great game and I hope that McNabb is still healthy. Anytime we play each other its like a Playoff Game.

August 8, 2007  11:19 AM ET

AL, if you think WADE is taking any team to te Super Bowl I wish i had some of whatever you are smoking. What has he ever done to make you think that he is a coach that is capable of taking a team to the Super Bowl? I'm just curious as he is an average coach at best.
