LeBron leaning toward staying?

07:39 AM ET 04.12 | The media's winding road while following LeBron James hit a new milepost over the weekend. After being mostly neutral and downright noncommittal for some time, those closest to James have been altering their view recently. The vibe being sent out from James' camp -- whether it is private conversations or discussions about new business or plans for the near future -- is that James currently is leaning strongly toward re-signing with the Cavs. That may sound vague and, as always, it continues to be fragile. Yet there is no denying the gradual shift within James' circle and, it is assumed, by James himself. James has declined to talk publicly about free agency since November. But as one source said, "I have never been so sure that he's going to stay in Cleveland than I am right now."

Wow, I guess the writers mother is a great source after all. Lebron will stay so long as Cav's management continue show they want to win. If they let everyone go in the offseason to save money then LBJ will say Adios.

What exactly is news about this? He was never going anywhere in the first place. He couldn't be that dumb! He has the best chance of winning right in Cleveland, and it's home, so he's not going anywhere!

This is good news... Lebron opened his beak and told the world he will stay in Cleveland so long as he doesn't have a title so go figure. If ur Dan Gilbert you can't wait to loose another playoff series since it guarantees you get to eat off of Lebron for years to come. Yes the king been sold a dream... that the current roster filled with very slow forwards is championship material.
Meanwhile in Orlando Dwight, Gortat and Bass are laughing like... "how do we send those tortoises back to their owner"?,, hahah
On the real though Cleveland will win their first round series. A second round series win is over achievement. After that they will have to face Orlando, Boston or Atlanta and their chances with those teams is like that of Miami winning the title this year - zero!

It is simple Math ;) LeBron makes $15.8m this year. As a FA LeBron MAX is 5% raise $16.59m or 30% of CAP. Well RealGM is reporting CAP next year $52.5m to $54m or 30% of 54 is $16.2m
LeBron contact for next year (His ETO) is $17.15m, which CAVS can sign LeBron to an extension of 3 years min and with a raise of 10.5% each year.
NY plan for LeBron only would have Worked IF the CAP kept going UP, not Down

Yes, your analysis of the sports world is extremely precise! I'm so tired of hearing about it too! All the reports say is that he doesn't want to comment, so I grow weary, but I'll be sure to profess my lack of interest to fannation in dramatic irony!
