The Broncos are considering three options regarding lame-duck defensive tackle Gerard Warren. They'll trade him, release him or try to mend fences and keep him. The team still wants to trade him and is hoping to complete a deal early in the week. Washington and Indianapolis may be the best fits for a trade.

He is all yours Denver. You wanted him so bad last year, you got him. Enjoy

August 19, 2007  12:45 PM ET

August 19, 2007  02:33 PM ET

August 19, 2007  05:57 PM ET

August 19, 2007  06:03 PM ET

The Colts said today in the Indy Star, that they will stick with the young guys they have. We'll see.

August 19, 2007  06:08 PM ET

The contract WILL ONLY effect the Broncos!

regardless who gets him, The Broncos take the HIT

August 19, 2007  08:21 PM ET

The Colts better get something to plug up the middle or Houston will put 250 yards rushing on you all. Hey Colts if you don't hear the footsteps get your ears checked.

August 19, 2007  08:24 PM ET

I don't hear footsteps. I hear fellow Colts fan laughing at the thought of the Texans winning games with their offensive line and running backs.

Lana,
You forget that the Contract has 5 more yrs on it.....and is worth a total of 36 million. Whoever gets this guy is going to have major Cap space ate up in the next 5 seasons. He isn't really worth that much at all. Last season I was scratching my head when Denver paid this guy that much.

August 20, 2007  10:08 AM ET

No w/ Eukban out for the yr & w/Jarvis Moss hobbled w/knee problems this probably means that Warren won't be traded or released!!

August 20, 2007  12:10 PM ET

Real Irish, what ever you say the only offense you will stop in September is Tennesee, New Orleans, Texans and Broncos wil scoring at will.

August 20, 2007  12:11 PM ET

And he is gone. To Oakland. The only thing i don't understand is how in the world can denver not need a D man to penetrate the back field.

Doesn't make sense for Oakland. I am scratching my head. They have Sapp, Kelly, and Sands.......I'm Confused...

August 20, 2007  02:02 PM ET

Hey Legend you coming to to Houston to watch the Cowboy Roast on Saturday? just kidding If we play well we are in for a great season, If we play great you are looking for a bad season. If you kill us that would suck, because I hate the Cowboys, From New York so a Giant fan from berth, Grew up in Phoenix (no cowboy fans there) and lie in Houston and have been a season ticket holder since day one, I am the biggest homer in H-town but I really beleive this year,

August 20, 2007  03:41 PM ET

let em go, we got alvin mckinley and sam adams

August 20, 2007  04:58 PM ET

I smell a trade involving Warren Sapp!

August 20, 2007  05:43 PM ET

The Texans

Have a bad QB who hasn't proven himself
Mediocre and old running backs
1 real wide receiver
The worst O-line in the NFL
A defensive line with a #1 bust (Williams) on the end
Okay linebackers
Okay special teams

At least you can try to get Baker or Long. No way the Texans win more than 4 games.

August 20, 2007  07:05 PM ET

Dbrude!-

How many playoff games have the Texans won? How many Superbowls?

If the answer to both questions is ZERO, ****. Thank you.

Jrod and Irish, lets talk on 9/23 I think you will be the ones that will have to **** and go away. Texas will be leading the south this year until Decmeber when we play Indy. I bet Indy gets the division and we get a wild card. Bad QB, unproven maybe, the worst O-line is a zero zero sacks so far this season (1 & 2 strings) Ahman Green has something to prove so does Dayne, I take them over the top two in indy, who is there if Addai gets nicked. My mother should hit the waiver wires she might have more gain than your scrubs. Jacoby Jones will be a Probowler in two years, Walter will be a decent slot guy. Ous special teams will be awesome, our linebackers are great, secondary and dline need work.
