06:50 AM ET 05.19 | With so many personnel decisions on the horizon, including locking up Peyton Manning for around $100 million, signing Joseph Addai seems a longshot after this season. Unless a team has a rare running back, it seems the best approach is to use a player for four or five seasons, then reload. Addai has been a very good back for the Colts and I expect him to have a solid season in 2010. But after that, it should be time to turn to Donald Brown and find someone to work as his backup. That's life in the NFL.
