No great mystery here. NASCAR has favored Chevy since Smokey Yunick re-introduced the Chevelle in the late 60's at Bill France Sr.s request. The car was allowed to run the entire season, as virtually the only Chevy, even though it was only 7/8th scale. Chevy has been allowed to cheat on the production rules many times over the years (the "turtleback" Monte Carlo and imaginary two-door Lumina are good examples).

If Chevy could win every race, especially Hendrick Chevys, it would be a complete NASCAR wet dream.

Maybe Chevy wins more because: #1 they have more cars in the race. #2 they have better drivers. at least Ford beats the Toyotas....most of the time

Personally, I think it's great to se Chevy dominate. But I'd rather see Chevy, Ford or Dodge win ahead of Toyota. Toyota own the Craftsman Truck series so stay there.

I think you'll see a big change if Gibbs makes the move to TOYOTA. They won't do it without a lot of backing from The OEM & I think they'll get that program on the fast track.

hey I like fords...but I dont want fords to win every race.. I want to see fair races and withthe way nascar writes the book it sure favors chevy..... but who cares once ernie elliott or hms goes thru a motor it dont know if its ford or chevy it is a race motor pure snd simple....

Right now Toyota is a sleeping giant. I just know that when they start winning and eventually they will, it is going to be alot. They just need a top team and some real quality drivers, and thats were Gibbs comes in.

I personally do not car what car a person drives... I just wanna see some racing (damn the rain!!!)

Chevy made 2 door Luminas and aerocoupe Monte Carlos. When did Ford build a 2 door Taurus?

I can still remember the CHEVY teams freakin out when Ford introduced the Taurus in the 90's and it dominated right away. NASCAR was tripping over their own feet to modify the rules to help make CHEVY competitive again....there really is a bias towards CHEVY.

That being said....I think the most talented drivers are driving CHEVYS....such is life...

AAAR: The 4-door Lumina was racing a full 2 years before the number of cars ordered, much less delivered, approached the production figures then required by NASCAR. The Aerocoupe NEVER reached the required number. Both of those cars raced before the first 2-door Taurus or Intrepid turned a lap.

Chevy has a great racing program and great drivers, no argument there.

I just wish it translated to the junk they sell on the street. I always thought they were the worst line GM had......

Nascar is Run by the owner of the WWE right now ! The COT should be junked or it will only get Worse ! Thats why Nascar doesnt want anyone to mess with the car at all so they can keep complete control in the outcome of the season ! Boycot Nascar !
