08:02 AM ET 05.22 | The NBA Playoffs should be an exciting two months in the sports calendar, but this year, it's all a fan can do to stay awake during the majority of these games. The conference finals are a perfect example. Before the end of the first quarter of the first game in both series it was obvious which teams would be advancing to the Finals. Kobe practically looks like he's on vacation. But for some reason they still have to play the whole series, and the fans have to watch it. The NHL Playoffs, on the other hand, have been the exact opposite, exciting, unpredictable and exhausting. Just take the Eastern Conference finals, where the seventh seed is taking on the eighth seed for a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals. Competition. Imagine that.
