07:26 AM ET 05.26 | Not surprisingly, the top three teams considered frontrunners in the Roy Oswalt sweepstakes are in large markets, with Los Angeles leading the way "if a trade were to happen today." Why: Certainly one of the "usual suspects" when it comes to contending for a championship ring, L.A. yearns for a pitcher of Oswalt's caliber to boost an otherwise fragile rotation. Brad Ausmus is there, so that's a plus for the righthander. Why not: A nasty divorce between owners Frank and Jamie McCourt likely will pull the plug on any high-dollar acquisitions for a while. Prized trade chips: RHP Chris Withrow, SS Dee Gordon.
