Academics sideline Indiana guard
Former Indiana Mr. Basketball A.J. Ratliff has been ruled academically ineligible for the first semester of the upcoming season and will miss nine games, Indiana coach Kelvin Sampson confirmed Saturday. Ratliff, a 6-3 senior guard, will not be eligible to return until the Dec. 15 non-conference game against Western Carolina. Among the games he will miss will be the Nov. 27 ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup against Georgia Tech and the Dec. 8 game against Kentucky.

What a moron! I'm not questioning his intelligence here ... but I am trying to figure out how a senior (okay, he's got no game or he'd be in the NBA by now) can't get his crap together for one last year. This genius had all summer to have counselors do his homework for him and he still stay straight!
