Nadal hopes for sun in Paris

08:27 AM ET 06.06 | Rafael Nadal has a shot at regaining the world's No. 1 ranking if he defeats Robin Soderling in the French Open final today. But Nadal says he will be at a slight disadvantage because of the forecast weather: thunderstorms and clouds. Nadal would prefer a clear day for three reasons: "First thing, because sun is energy. Second, because everything is nicer with the sun and third point, because with the sun, my ball is getting more topspin than with rain." Nadal may still have the talent to overcome the less than ideal weather, but it could play a factor in the match.
