Predators in market for forward?

09:47 AM ET 08.27 | As the Predators begin the process of replacing injured forward Steve Sullivan for the next three months, General Manager David Poile said the first step is to look within the organization. But he's not ruling out the possibility of a trade. Don't expect that to happen in the near future. Poile pointed out that recently signed forward Martin Gelinas might step into a more prominent role due to Sullivan's back injury, and also noted that several Nashville forwards -- such as Vern Fiddler, Jordin Tootoo and Scott Nichol -- moved up to the first two lines at times last season.

they HAVE to look within the organization - they have nothing left to use as trade bait, and no other free agents want to sign there...well, maybe give Jason Allison a call, he's gotta be desperate enough by now...as long as you don't mind seeing your defencemen beat your centre to the opponent's zone!

So THATS the effects of all the back surgeries, drugs and rehab... makes you age about 30 years! Man, they gotta get "Steve" a hospital room with some sunlight --he sure looks like they put him away wet after the surgery! Look how "Steve Sullivan" looks after all his medical troubles, and just imagine what Barry Bonds is gonna look like in 10 years from all his medical experimenting (insert picture of Redd Foxx at 82 for full effect!). ... and remind me to get my photos developed at a different place than these guys here do --lest my wife comes out looking more like Jessica Tandy than Jessica Alba.

Any chance Alexander Radulov can be converted to center? He was great in the minors last year and showed a few flashes with the Preds. If he can be converted it would be a great move, providing they can find someone to take his place on the wing.

Jason Allison? They're a team that uses speed not immovable statues. He'll be good on the powerplay if they use an overload or crash the net type strat. Otherwise don cherry runs faster backwards than this guy skating forward
