I was always rooting for Wright. Miami had a solid team and I had hoped Wright would grab the reins and and run the tables in the ACC. I guess someone else will get a chance now.

It's good to see that a coach recognize when a player, especially a QB, is detrimental to his team. Most coaches are too headstrong to replace a former starting QB. Maybe Shannon will do alright.

Wright has had the starting QB label & has been terribly inconsistent & holds onto the ball to long, seems to take the sack & w/some QB mobility, good RB's, & decent WRs & w/Miami's stellar defense they will easy get 9-10 wins vs probably only 8 wins w/Wright who seems to sulk if things aren't going well.

As I've said in another thread, I'm glad they're giving Freeman a shot, but I worry that it is a lesser-of-two-evils situation. Neither of these guys have proven to me that they're capable of being real good, it's moreso been a case of which is worse? Either way I don't see us having stablility behind center. I do agree Freeman deserved a chance though, Wright has had plenty!
