[The] pleasure over the bigger payday will wear off as the days go by and the second-tier B12 schools once again realize that (1) Texas still runs the conference, but with only more power than before; (2) the financial disparity between the top B12 teams and the lower-level teams will be even more extreme. And as the initial happiness fades, the bitterness will set in. And there's no way this will end well. We'll be back in this ring of fire again; it's just a matter of time. ... [If] Texas and its southwest pals see a better opportunity and want to run to it, they'll run to it. Divorce is inevitable.
