Why Roddick should be a favorite at Wimbledon

08:06 AM ET 06.19 | As Wimbledon nears, the easy choice for favorite is Roger Federer. He is still the all-time king at Grand Slam wins, he has dominated at Wimbledon and despite not reaching the finals at the French Open, Federer is still in great form. If you can't pick Federer, how about Rafael Nadal. Fresh off another win at Roland Garros, Nadal is both confident and healthy, he has won on grass before and doesn't fear any player who might face him. So those are the easy picks, but here's why Andy Roddick should be the favorite. Though he's never won a championship (Roddick lost 16-14 in the fifth set of last year's final, his third finals defeat) Roddick brings a confidence this year that he has never showcased before.

aren't you a smartass.... predictions are just that. looks like i was wrong too. nothing is a given in sports. roger was a favorite, but favorites fall all the time in all sports - but you're a chick and wouldn't expect you to grasp this... oh, and andy's hot???
