Not great PR really is it, they should have refunded part of the money from those tivcket sales to anyone who wanted to hand in their ticket...the people who bought tickets to se Beckham and who are now going to miss out are hardly likely to think too well of the clubs in the future...not much chance of them buying season tickets next year after being treated badly this season.

Do the Giants refund money when Barry Bonds doesn't play? Do the Colts refund money when Peyton Manning doesn't play? Do the Lakers refund money when Kobe doesn't play?

It's a sport and you take your chance if you buy tickets to see just one player. Even though he didn't play at the Dallas game is was a GREAT game with GREAT atmosphere AND A PACKED HOUSE!

If people don't return to watch MLS games because a start player got hurt then they aren't wanted anyway. That's not the kind of fan the league needs. They don't hold athletes in other sports to a standard where they should play while injured so Beckham and the rest of MLS shouldn't be held to that standard either.

Do those teams jack up prices or force people to buy packages just because of a certain player? No. This is an unusual circumstance. But at the same time, people have to understand it's always a risk.

It does suck but it is part of sports.No team can 100% guarantee any player will be on the pitch! Anyone can be injured at any time.I see both sides.

He's waiting for movie deals soccer-fans, wait and see. Why else would he come here? If he's SOOO good, then he would've stayed in the more competitive league's, no one can argue that. He is SOOO good. Lots of huge clubs in Europe wanted him and Real Madrid wanted to re-sign him in June. He's here to generate more interest in the sport, a sport that is the number 1 sport around the World except here.
He could've made tons of money staying in Europe.
