Wild Real moves aimed at Alves

Spanish sports daily Marca reports that Real Madrid are going to conduct some whirlwind last-minute transfers in a bid to land Sevilla star Daniel Alves. Defender Marcelo and midfielder Julio Baptista are amongst those set to be offloaded today, while cantera players de la Red, Granero, Adrian Gonzalez and Balboa could join them.

I just wish they'd hold on to Baptista in their effort to get Alves. I think they are going to need Baptista this season.

Baptista would do well at Sevilla and that would give them a replacement just in case Kanoute or Fabiano get injured, he can also play midfield I do wish that Madrid would keep him

Baptista is good every know and then...he's not consistent in my opinion. But when he's in form he's great.
