Trojans to honor late kicker
A ceremony honoring the late Mario Danelo will be held tonight before USC's season opener against Idaho. Danelo, a record-setting kicker for the Trojans in 2005 and 2006, would have been a senior this season. He died last January from a fall from a cliff near his home in San Pedro. No USC player will wear No. 19 this season, but players' helmets will be adorned with a No. 19 decal. The Coliseum goal posts are protected with padding that has Danelo's name on it, and a banner near the tunnel is emblazoned with Danelo's favorite saying, "Living the Dream."

I don't know if any of you got to see the whole tribute to him, very emotional, his number will never be worn at SC again, and the way Pete honored him by not sending the kicker in for the P.A.T., wow....
