05:50 AM ET 09.04 | Stopping short of announcing that he'll play in Sunday's season opener against the Jets, Randy Moss said there have been no setbacks in his recovery from a tweaked hamstring - and, indeed, later in the day he was on the practice field with his teammates. He also explained that his monthlong absence was a decision made with the long haul in mind.

A month long absense?WTF?DOOH,there goes another hamey. He's still half-****ing it and will continue to do so.

Rada4life maybe you should get your facts straight. It was the plan of the training staff to keep him out and get him COMPLETELY healthy. How does that translate into him not doing his part? He was in every team meeting and was receiving treatment while the team practiced, which is what he was told to do. Why rush back to the field less than 100% and risk missing regular season games with something that could have been dealt with simply by being smart.

September 4, 2007  08:54 AM ET

Yeah Randy is there secret weapon and no way their putting him in harms way this not Randy's doin this is the patriots!!!

September 4, 2007  09:13 AM ET

HGH.....Just do it Randy.

September 4, 2007  09:33 AM ET

The TRUTH does not give a damn

September 4, 2007  09:43 AM ET

After watching him in Oakland for 3 years I can assure you that Randy's just another ground chuck wideout that thinks he's prime rib.

Prepare to be disappointed, Pats fans.

Hey, ground chuch makes for a good cheese burger...cheddar...bacon....onion....drool....

September 4, 2007  10:02 AM ET

Hmmm.. how bout lose the onions and go for some shredded jalapenos? Maybe with a toasted bun... oh yeah...

September 4, 2007  10:10 AM ET

ooh, southwestern style....

September 4, 2007  10:21 AM ET

Mmmm... Randyburger...

September 4, 2007  10:24 AM ET

No Mas (Moss)....get it, no more! I recommended a local store do that with their Moss jerseys.

September 4, 2007  10:27 AM ET

Yeah, you're a marketing genius, man.

September 4, 2007  11:00 AM ET

I don't think the question is whether he will suit up and take the field but rather will he run his routs or just give up and cry? Remains to be seen...

September 4, 2007  12:55 PM ET

Why doesn't Moss just follow the rest of the team and take HGH.

September 4, 2007  01:36 PM ET

Mental Ray could use some CSH...and if you don't know, your **** better ask somebody...

September 4, 2007  01:57 PM ET

NO DOUBT HE WILL PLAY THIS WEEKEND GUARANTEE!!
