Maybe Jr driving the 3 was just a dream I had ...... no do not think so because people in our group are talking about it so it is just not in my head.
Come on and catch up T and R , you do the tire test article in the middle of the week when there is not as much going on

NASCAR drivers #42 Montoya, #11 Hamlin, #82 Speed and #6 Ragan participated in a Goodyear tire test Tuesday at Bristol.

Speaking of Jr, did you hear in his post race interview how he said something like, 'I really tried hard to win, and I did'. And I couldn't help but think that maybe he doesn't have that same determination the rest of the time. It was important last night, but I'm not so sure it is the rest of the time.
Just my opinion.

i thought the same exact thing.. thats why tonight should be interesting, he definitely has the fire back in him at least for tonights cup race

dont hate jr, but I didnt even watch the race, because I knew what was gonna happen. svt I think you called it, and I know your a jr fan, but nascar was not gonna let that night go without jr winning in the number 3. just saying....

im sorry for sounding like an a--, but im just not that gullible. I cant imagine the horsepower under that hood, compared to the field.. I guess its nothing against jr, its nascar. Its just the way they try for ratings and money.. mike helton and all of them just get on my nerves sometimes.

i definitely think he had more horsepower than anyone else.. whether or not nascar gave him a slightly bigger restrictor plate, we'll never know.. but thats about all they could do to fix it.. at some point its in the driver's hands, and dale jr was definitely up on the wheel.. those things werent handling so well at the beginning of the race, well most of the race for that matter..

I am gonna go the opposite and say Jr pushed himself allot harder than he has in a long time and that he does have the skills there but has lost some of the desire.
Maybe Jr needs to ask Childress for that 3 and push himself.
The reason he does not want to drive the 3 full time is because he knows he will have to get up on the wheel and drive his butt off

Yes, it did look....a little gullible .... taking the Lead on Lap 3

When Junior won I knew the conspiracy theorists would come out. (Was that Todd Helton I saw on the grassy knoll?) Like Denny Hamlin said its show business and that's how they treat it. I don't know if he had any more horse power, but I do think he drove it harder than he has in the last couple years. Coming in 4th last night was a little vindication. Even though he had to admit that it was luck.

Yup -- and he damn sure didn't like the car ... I'd like to know what kind of "experiment" he had under the hood of the Nationwide car -- he made reference to no burnout so the engine troops could get a "good reading" on something!@!@#???

He's said he is 110% determined, can't be any more focused, etc. He also said he didn't think he had the car to win, but it did. I'm more bummed that that was the swan song for driving a #3 Chevy.........
