09:28 AM ET 07.04 | Faith Hill recently shot her opening to NBC's "Sunday Night Football" at a studio in Hollywood. Shot at the studio were scenes of the Bears' Brian Urlacher pinballing his way through the columns at Soldier Field (and cracking one with a mighty collision), the Eagles' DeSean Jackson running to the top of the famed "Rocky" steps, the Vikings' Adrian Peterson sprinting past ice fishermen on a frozen lake and Freeney swim-moving his way through a cornfield. Among the other players who will be featured are Peyton and Eli Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware, Drew Brees, Charles Woodson and Ray Lewis.

Needs a shot of Tony Romo with a half a dozen reality show bimbo's. Maybe Adrian Peterson scrambling around trying hopelessly to pick up a greased football with a curly tail.

NBC doesn't have any other good programs other than the NFL and NHL games. What was once a great TV channel is just sub-par today. They are putting all of their eggs into this basket.

I wish they would get rid of Faith Hill and all of the lame intros and just focus on putting a decent game on each week.

Seeing how it's the Fourth of July, how about they start each game with the National Anthem?

I sort of favored her pole dance on the first one she did.

How does Ray Lewis get a pass and everybody gets down on Big Ben, the Rothl less burger? Ray Ray was involved in a murder. No he did not get convicted, but he was most likely guilty as sin. How does Ray get to hang with the likes of Peyton and Company?

isn't anyone interested in seeing how they will combine all that into their intro. It's better then the highlights that they showed last year.

Now you know the reason why I don't sit down in front the TV until I see or hear the kickoff units getting ready to start the game....

Actually, I'm a huge Chuck fan. Other than that, however, I'd have to agree with you.

NFL football, NHL hockey and Law & Order (mostly out of habit, although they cancelled the original series) just about cover it for me on NBC. A lot of great shows (True Blood, Mad Men, etc) don't even appear on the network channels anymore.
