08:41 AM ET 07.05 | The Knicks still could get something big out of David Lee. A league source said the Knicks have been offered Golden State's point guard Monta Ellis and Minnesota's Al Jefferson for Lee in separate sign-and-trade scenarios. But the Knicks are handcuffed on all moves until they find out what LeBron James and Dwyane Wade do.

The Knicks are in serious danger of blowing it with Lee. They better hope he doesn't take an offer before they can decide whether or not to make him an offer.

I would trade him for Monta in a heartbeat. that kid can play.

They might not have the opportunity. If I were Lee I wouldn't choose to play for GS. Even if it means more money.

The NY Plan to get LBJ or others, ran into a problem when other teams like CHI, NETS, Miami, and others all made CAP room too. And then for some reason NY fans keep talking about a sign n trade for Bosh, using Lee who does not want to go to Toronto.

I hope Lee gets outta Hell soon. Preferably to a good situation.

I heard he's leaning toward the T'wolves...is that what you are considering a good situation.?

Now the Rumors are GSW not trading Ellis till New ownership.....but maybe Al Jefferson to DALLAS....Minn could do a Jefferson for Damp non guaranteed contact, cut Damp and then sign Lee, i guess....More Rumors till the Truth on Thursday when FA can sign.

Should you stay or go, Bro?

Yes absolutely. Wolves are offering 12-15 M per for 5-6 years. That is a GREAT situation if you ask me!
Lakers will win next year, and the following year is a lockout. Just make the money bro!

If I were NY I would push hard to make it happen as Parker seems to go nowhere and while Monta is not close to being a PG, he has real talent and looking to last year numbers, has improved his outside shooting. Thus it seems like no matter who gets to NY this year, they will still have no defense.

My God, David Lee should be able to file some kind of human rights violation w/ the United Nations if he goes from the Knicks to the Terrible wolves! Sad when a 30 win season will be his career high water mark.

Man I hope Lee leaves that team. They have been using him like a bargaining chip this entire offseason. I hope he signs with someone he wants to play with, so he can be appreciated.
