08:28 AM ET 07.05 | The Knicks said they were still on the board with LeBron James -- and Saturday morning they were back in his boardroom. The Knicks hope it was a good sign that team executives Glen Grunwald and Scott O'Neil met with LeBron James' agent, Leon Rose, on Saturday morning in Cleveland in an unexpected encore to their big pitch session on Thursday.

I have a really hard time believing he hasn't decided yet. I think he's known what everyone was going to offer him for a long time. The owners GMs and coaches can make all the promises that they want but the only guarentee is the money.

yeah he's decided....decided to stay in cleveland. if what steven a. smith is saying about cb4 is true about him wanting max money above anything else when other guys are willing to take a slight cut in pay to play together it speaks volumes about the guys character. I JUST WANNA WIN he says... sure bud.

peace out toronto is better off in the long run without you.

I feel for Toronto, they have a good fan base, but they can't seem to get anyone to stick around.

Only LBJ agent Leon Rose talked to the Knicks,......NOT LBJ... to get a better understanding now the NY offer to Amare, fits into the plan for NY.....word is Amare is NO deal if LBJ wants Bosh, or ??? over Amare.

I know that he is the #1 free agent and everything, but the Knicks might be getting off on the wrong foot if they are let him make the call on Amare and Bosh....Isn't that how Cleveland kind of F'd things up..by letting him play backseat GM?

This might be the only time I ever say...I completely agree with you.

'Bron wants to prolong this to satisfy his Attention Deficit Disorder. I mean to keep getting attention.

July 5, 2010  10:21 AM ET

Yeah I don't think this is true when the other T+R post from Cleveland said he'll probably make his decision on Wednesday.

July 5, 2010  10:26 AM ET

I have finally reached the saturation point. I hope the next story I read with Lebron's name in it includes his decision. And I hope he stays in Cleveland.

I don't think he's staying....Other teams look a lot better at this point.

Yeah that is easy for you to say because I am sure if you were looking for a job you would take the job at the company who will pay you less but because of your work might move to #1 on the fortune 500.

Am I the only one that Thinks if LBJ pulls that Same **** LBJ pulled in the playoffs this year the NYC press will destroy him? I don't think The man from Akron has the makeup to handle NYC. I hope the Knicks would get Wade over LBJ. That dude is Gritty and battle tested.

Good point. Wade probably fits better in NYC. But I think they have a better chance of signing Lebron.

aint *THAT* the truth....all of you holier than thou dudes out there act like you would do any different. If you were offered a hundred-grand in Cleveland versus seventy-grand in New York you wouldn't think about it at all.
