08:55 AM ET 07.05 | The same board that five months ago approved a new five-year, $3.25-million contract for Damon Evans will convene at 11 a.m. today to hear details of his resignation. This morning's meeting, via conference call, of the UGA Athletic Board's executive committee is expected to reveal Evans' resignation settlement and perhaps the game plan for choosing his successor as Georgia's athletics director.

Very sad, hope it was worth it for him.

Expensive pair of panties, for sure.

At least she didn't order one of everything to go....

Bruce Feldman has a call into Damon Evans. Bruce needs to work out a minor scheduling conflict that he has with a Texas gig. If he gets past that, he and Damon are off to work on an updated version of "The Red Badge of Courage"!

What a waste - throws not only his own future into question but a lot of other people's.

Wow. How quickly one can fall. From $600k a year to.....Why does Mike Price keep coming to mind.

It will be curious if the final figures on buying out his contract are published. The " settlement." I would be surprised if he does not walk away with at least $500,000.

I suspect that someone will have to pry open the details of his settlement with a freedom of information act request. UGA doesn't like airing this kind of dirty laundry.

Let's see... job, marriage, future... all for martinis and * with a not so pretty 28-year-old pantie dropper of dubious character...

Damn Tinny. When you put it like that, it almost doesn't seem worth it.

If UGA was on top in CFB he would have probably kept his job because pretty much anything goes in the SEC.

Not quite. She still hasn't started a tawdry website with "hunker down" in the domain name.

They'll accept his resignation? Ya think?!?

Excuse me, has anyone seen my albatross?

Resignation accepted. Settlement publisized. Bulldog Nation red-faced with embarassment (no face paint).
