05:53 AM ET 07.06 | There was talk Monday of supposed sign-and-trade discussions between Utah and New York, involving Jazz free-agent power forward Carlos Boozer and Knicks free-agent forward David Lee. That, though, was before Phoenix free-agent big man Amare Stoudemire reportedly agreed to a five-year, max-money deal with New York.

The Knicks are in a strange position. They have the money but does anyone on the market really wants to play for the Knicks. The have an almost great chip in David Lee in a sign and trade but who do you trade him for. Whoever the Knicks sign next will tell us what direction they are focused on going.

Al Jefferson played regularly at center since he joined Minnesota and he's also a forward, so whay couldn't Amare alternate with Boozer?

This is very stupid. Lee is better than Boozer so why would we do such a swap? I'm so glad Isaiah is no longer running the Knicks.

david lee a 20-10 player on a bum team = unproductive 20-10/ boozer a double double player as well on a playoff team.........and david lee is better because??????

There is a ceiling on the amount of money you can give a player. You can sell the benifits of the city, but don't tell me these guys are not aware of what each city is. What is left? getting other players? This whole thing is ridiculous.

He really isn't, Lost is just making one of the ridiculous comments he makes each day! Lee is a good player, but he isn't at Boozer's level!
