Sup, Chief! I hope the Titans' offseason continues to improve. Again, please keep Haynesworth. :)

As much as I love CJ, and how much he means to the team's success, I think this should have happened next year. Possible player-lockout withstanding, I think he needed to show one more year before getting a 5 year, Mega Cash deal.

Then again, the Titan's are always way below the cap - and always have money to spend...this is a guy that's worth it for once.

July 6, 2010  09:47 AM ET

after the report of him working out for the Titans last week, this seems to be the obvious next step...

July 6, 2010  10:05 AM ET

GOOD , He deserves it....

July 6, 2010  10:08 AM ET

Yeah CJ! Way to stand your ground.

July 6, 2010  10:45 AM ET

he'll get a contract with guaranteed money that makes the front end loaded but when the backend years come, he'll do the same thing-- hold out. Just like Plax did and every other greedy athlete who think money=respect.

No way Bud Adams pays him!!! I will be in shock if the stingy old fart breaks the bank for goldteeth!!

Titans are going to be circling the drain!

I take it your not an athlete... and you don't like money...or you don't like athletes that make a lot of money...or your just angry at money and athletes.

Yeah, all he did was post one of the top 5 rushing performances of all time and set a record for combined yardage in a season, to go with a rookie season among the top 10 RB's in the league. I can see how you would think he has more to prove.

(/sarcasm off)

Do they ever. Their offense would look pedestrian without him.
