06:18 AM ET 07.07 | Dwyane Wade and LeBron James apparently are engaged in battle to recruit free agent power forward Chris Bosh. Although Wade and James each spent Tuesday sidestepping the media and continuing to offer their respective teams no clear indications of their pending decisions, both marquee free agents have reportedly increased their efforts to lure Bosh.

James is sidestepping the media so he can sell tickets to his 1 hr. side-show Wed. on ESPN.

Bosh doesn't want to go to CLE but it sounds like the pieces are in place to make a deal. TOR is on record as saying they are not interested in anything on MIA roster but it's one of the places Bosh will go. Sounds like he's either playing somewhere he doesn't want to or going to have to leave 30mill on table. Or go to plan B or C or D. Just want it over.

UnPhucingBeleivable!!!! Why does anyone need a "show" or even a press conference to make an "announcement" just about a decision?? Its not like a team introducing their new player or anything. Just a decision.
I have always liked LeBron, but this diva behavior is getting odder by the day. Me Me Me Me!!!

Sportscenter is breaking the story that Wade and Bosh have agreed to team up in Miami. Chris Broussard is breaking the news right now.

I'm sorta interested to see what he needs an hour for...."I've decided to stay, or go"
takes up roughly 5 minutes if he drags his syllables

Where does Cleveland turn now? Assuming Lebron goes back, and I am, do they try and work a sign and trade with Utah for Boozer? That would be ironic.

I'm watching ESPN right now and didn't see that.

Mike and Mike are talking about it. The deal for Bosh is reportedly 5 years, 96 million.

About you watch if first before you pass judgment? The proceeds of the special is going to the Boys and Girls Club of America. Whats wrong with that?

Sure, nothing wrong in holding back judgement. If you think this is ONLY about "charity" and nothing about him getting more and more exposure, you are another one of those LeBron koolaid drinkers.
If he wants to donate, he can donate anyday anytime to any organization WITHOUT NEEDING A SHOW!!!!!!!!! I'll be the first one to applaud and even salute.
But, alas, regardless of what homers like you think, LeBron HAS ALWAYS been about himself.

Really, the way I see it the media is chasing him. And considering Wade and Bosh hasn't announced anything. Why is LBJ a diva for not doing it? My advice is turn the channel if you don't like the program.

Surely wade and Bosh aren't going to have their own "shows" to make an announcement? Did Kobe hold a show to make his? or did A -Rod do that?
I dont even know ONE superstar sportsperson that did this.

but thanks for the advise bro, i know how to flip channels. Obviously you didn't address my real point about lebron being all about himself. And I'm sure you enjoyed and loved the timing of his larry King special as well :-)

How long as Lebron been in the NBA now? Seven years? When is he going to stop acting like a high school student at an **** prep rally and sstart acting like a professional basketball player?
Honestly, I know he is talented. But when is he going to get it together and start acting like a champion?
People are always comparing Jordan and Kobe...One thing they have in common is they are all about business. Jordan and Kobe have a killer instinct that Lebron has yet to show. For him basketball is just a good ole fun time...and that's great that he has fun, but that isn't want champions are made of IMO.

Incredible, isn't it?

Maybe he'll grow up when the media stops reporting everytime he farts. But no offense dude. I can remember when every corner you turned there was Kobe's face. And I'm not fond of the fact people compare him to Kobe. LBJ doesn't step out. Or put himself in a position where a woman can cry rape. How old was Kobe when he got himself into that mess? Talk about someone out for just a good ole time, lol.

Oh, I don't doubt that the media is partually at fault....
But IMO all of this BS is the reason he has never won a championship. He's been working the Cavs the same way he probably worked his high school coach...."Oh coach you can't cut _____ he's my favorite guy on the team."

I thought there was ZERO chance of this before all of the stuff this morning, but I now think Lebron is headed for the Nets. I think be wants the big market, and I think the Nets have better pieces in place than the Knicks with Harris, Lopez and Favors. I don't think he wants to live in Jordan's shadow in Chicago. Cleveland, though they have been successful in the regular season, they don't seem to have what it takes to win a title. Unless Chicago can add a guy like Boozer, too, I think the Nets are the best fit for him.

Worked for him at high school. Didn't get those state championships by standing on the sidelines picking his nose. And about him being selfish. Did you know once he signed his first nbs contract. That he bought everyone of his highscholl teamates the vehicle of their choice. Probably not.

I never said he was selfish. And yes High school championships...that is high school. This is professional basketball. Since he is obviously so talented leading his high school team to the championships in a relatively small division shouldn't be that big of a deal. My sister was on a Division I high school team that went to the finals, none of them went pro.

Correction: Her school was Class A, which is the highest enrollment division.

But my point is that in High School playing a sport is about having fun. In the Pros a different mentality is required. I don't think he has exhibited that mentality...yet.

I also think that if be were going to join Bosh and Wade in Miami, he would have had them in on the announcement and vice versa.

No, they are not. In fact they just said the fact that there was one place Bosh didn't want to play. Cleveland. And he wanted to go with LBJ says LBJ must be staying home. Bulls fans are crying in their cornflakes this morning.

Why would we be crying...? If Lebron resigns with the Cavs it's all good with me... It means that we didn't sign him, but neither did the Knicks or Heat...And I still think we have a good chance at Wade.

LB taking an hour on ESPN to announce his decision is just ridiculous. I'm for the $ raised going to charity but there are better wats to do that other than this self promoting farce
