Jack denies St. John's commitment

06:35 AM ET 07.07 | Kadeem Jack didn't know what all the fuss was about. There was a buzz around Hoops in the Sun in The Bronx on Sunday that the recent Rice HS graduate - and blue-chip recruit - had committed to St. John's. It was even announced by intrepid play-by-play man Bobby C. "No," Jack said when asked if he had indeed verbaled to the local suitor. "I don't know where they got that from." The Queens resident says he is looking into places like North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, UConn, Kansas State and Arizona along with St. John's.
